When you place an order with Travelex Wire, there are a few different statuses that you may see throughout the order process. Here’s a guide to what each status means:

Draft: As your order is automatically saved as a draft throughout the order process, you’ll see this status when you return to an incomplete order. No funds will be taken from your card until your order is completed.

Processing order: You’ll see this status if you placed your order whilst the foreign exchange markets are closed, such as at the weekend or overnight. Your order won’t be booked until the markets reopen.

Processing funds: This status indicates that you’ve successfully placed your order but while your card has been charged, your funds are still being processed by us.

Action required: If you see this status, you’ll need to send in some additional documents in order to confirm your identity and proceed with your order. You’ll receive an email from us with the full details of what you need to do.

Under review: You’ll see this status whilst we’re checking your transaction. Your order will be saved as a draft whilst we do this, which may take us up to two working days to review. We’ll send you an email as soon as we’re ready for you to resume your order.

Completed: This status simply confirms that your order has been processed and booked. You will have been provided with an estimated arrival date for when money will arrive in your recipient’s account.

Failed: You’ll see this status if your transfer has failed. No money will have been taken from your card and you’ll be given the order summary for your reference. You’ll need to place the order again in order to continue.

Cancelled: This status means your order has been cancelled by us and you’ll receive a full refund. Please contact our customer support team for additional information or review our Terms and Conditions for further information.
